Christmas in Lebanon was marked by reconciliation between Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir and Marada Party chief and former minister Suleiman Frangieh under the auspices of President Michel Sleiman and the Maronite League headed by Joseph Tarabay. Until the arrival of President Sleiman to Bkirki for Christmas mass, everything was normal. However the unexpected arrival of Frangieh drew the attention of the media.
